Terms of Service

BedroomDJs (the "Service", accessible at bedroomdjs.com) is operated by Spendy LLC ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What BedroomDJs is

BedroomDJs is an online platform where users create accounts and where DJs can publish public profiles, live-stream status, event listings, gear lists, and links to third-party streaming and social platforms. The Service is a hosting and discovery layer for user-generated content — we do not produce, endorse, verify, or control the streams, events, gear, links, or other content posted by users or DJs.

DJ applications & approval

Creating a DJ profile requires submitting an application. We may approve, waitlist, deny, revoke, or re-review any application at our sole discretion, with or without reason, and a handle is only reserved once an application is approved. Approval, waitlist status, or continued listing is not a certification, endorsement, verification of identity, credentials, or professional standing, and creates no obligation to keep a profile listed, ranked, or visible.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on BedroomDJs, including any DJ profile, and to take part in the monthly Top 10 contest. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it to these Terms.

Your account & content

You are responsible for your account and any content you submit (profile info, links, gear, events, streaming platform references, etc.), including keeping your login credentials secure and ensuring the content you post is accurate and lawful. You retain ownership of your content and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, cache, reproduce, adapt for display (for example, resizing images or generating thumbnails), publicly display, and distribute that content, in any current or future media, solely to operate, secure, and promote the Service. You represent that you have all rights necessary to post the content and to grant this licence.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) post content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, deceptive, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, harassing, or that violates another person's rights; (b) impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation; (c) scrape, data-mine, or bulk-download the Service, or interfere with its normal operation; (d) probe, scan, or attempt to breach security or authentication; (e) upload malware or automated agents; (f) use the Service to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages; or (g) use the Service in violation of applicable law, including export, sanctions, and consumer-protection law.

User-generated content & moderation

Content posted by users and DJs is their own. We do not pre-screen content and we make no representation about its accuracy, reliability, legality, or safety. We may, but are not obliged to, review, remove, edit, restrict, or refuse any content or account at our discretion, including to comply with law, protect users, or enforce these Terms. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights or violates these Terms, contact us at the address below.

Third-party platforms

BedroomDJs surfaces links to external streaming and social platforms (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Instagram, TikTok, SoundCloud, Spotify and others). Those platforms are independent services with their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or handling of your data.

Booking & hiring inquiries

DJs may enable a feature that lets signed-in users send booking or hiring inquiries. When you send an inquiry, the information you submit (including your name, email address, phone number, links, and the details of the opportunity) is transmitted to and stored for the receiving DJ, who may read, retain, export, act on, annotate, or delete it. Do not include payment card data, government ID numbers, health information, or other sensitive or confidential information in an inquiry.

BedroomDJs is only a messaging and routing tool. We are not an employment agency, talent agency, booking agent, promoter, escrow agent, payment processor, or party to any engagement, contract, negotiation, or payment that results from an inquiry. Any agreement is solely between the requester and the DJ, who are each responsible for verifying the other party, agreeing terms and fees, obtaining insurance, licences, and permits, complying with employment, tax, performing-rights, immigration, and consumer law, and resolving any dispute between them. We do not verify the accuracy of inquiries or the identity, availability, qualifications, or conduct of any DJ or requester, and we disclaim responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage arising from an engagement, cancellation, no-show, non-payment, or event.

You agree not to use inquiries to send spam, solicitations unrelated to booking, recruitment blasts, harassment, threats, fraud, phishing, or unlawful offers. DJs may block a requester, may decline without explanation, and may see limits on duplicate or pending requests. We may read, limit, suspend, or remove inquiries and inquiry functionality to prevent abuse, protect users, or comply with law. Notes a DJ adds to a request are private to that DJ but are not confidential as to us or as against a lawful legal request.

Notifications & email

Following a DJ or using the Service may allow you to opt in to email notifications (for example, when a DJ goes live or posts a new event). Notification delivery is best-effort and may be delayed, batched, duplicated, filtered, or not delivered at all; you should not rely on it for time-critical decisions. You can turn optional notifications off at any time from the relevant toggle or your account settings, but we may still send service, security, and transactional messages while your account exists. DJs must not use live status, event posts, or notification triggers to spam followers.

Sponsors, merch & commercial content

DJs may display sponsor logos and links, merch links, gear links, and representation details on their profiles. That content is supplied by the DJ, who represents that they hold the rights and permissions needed to display any sponsor name, logo, or trademark and that the relationship is accurately described. We do not verify, endorse, or take part in any sponsorship, and we may remove any sponsor or commercial content at our discretion. DJs are responsible for applicable advertising-disclosure rules, including the U.S. FTC Endorsement Guides and equivalent local requirements.

Copyright & DMCA

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or trademark, contact us at the address below with enough detail to identify the work, the material at issue, your contact information, and a statement of good-faith belief and accuracy. We may remove content and terminate repeat infringers.

Affiliate links

DJs may include affiliate or referral links in their public "gear" list or elsewhere in their profile and may earn commissions or other compensation when visitors click those links or make qualifying purchases. Where a DJ has enabled the affiliate-disclosure toggle, a notice is shown next to their gear list; DJs are solely responsible for complying with the U.S. FTC Endorsement Guides and any equivalent local requirements (including EU/UK consumer and advertising rules) when using affiliate links. BedroomDJs is not a party to any purchase made through those links, does not endorse any product, and receives no share of a DJ's affiliate earnings unless separately agreed in writing.

No service guarantee

The Service is offered on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, retention of content, accuracy of listings (including live status, schedules, or events), or any specific result, audience, income, or feature. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without notice.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings; on deletion we remove or de-identify your account data subject to the limited retention described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, including where we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, harms other users, or creates legal, security, or reputational risk. Sections intended to survive termination (including content licence for content already distributed, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law) will continue to apply.

Disputes between users

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, including DJs, requesters, sponsors, and event attendees. To the extent permitted by law, you release Spendy LLC from all claims, demands, and damages of every kind arising out of or connected with any dispute between you and another user, whether online or offline.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spendy LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of content, or uninterrupted operation, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, in no event will Spendy LLC be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill; and Spendy LLC's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to USD $100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, statutory consumer rights in the EEA, UK, or Australia).

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction that grants non-waivable rights, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
